You don’t have to live near the beach to create a beach sensory bin. You don’t even need to buy a 50 pound bag of play sand. All you need is a craft store! Besides the container, I got everything I needed for this beach sensory bin in the floral department of a craft store.
This sensory bin is quick and easy to put together!
What you need:
- decorative sand
- decorative sea shells
- blue glass decorative gem stones
- decorative stones
- shallow container
Then just dump the materials into your container and arrange them how you like. Or let your child play!
Caden liked exploring the feel of the soft sand but didn’t like the sand sticking to his fingers. So he began and using the sea shells to scoop up the sand and watch it fall back into the container. Caden also added his own element. A tiny Lightening McQueen car who enjoyed a dip in the ocean.
Caden enjoyed playing with this sensory bin and adding his own fun elements to play with. What would your little one(s) add to their Beach Sensory Bin?
