Forest Animals Letter Sounds Activity
Supplies & Materials:
Prep Work:
To prepare this activity a parent or teacher will need to cut several triangles out of green craft foam. These will make the forest trees. Then place one alphabet sticker on each triangle.
To set up this activity, clip a clothespin to the bottom of each forest tree to create a tree trunk. Then stand up the trees on a table using a little play dough to help keep the trees upright.
How to Play:
Set up a table with the alphabet forest trees and a collection of forest animals. Then invite your preschooler to match up the forest animals to the tree with the correct letter based on the beginning sound of the animals.
This is an excellent activity for preschoolers to do to learn to identify the letters of the alphabet and their sounds.
My son really enjoyed playing with the mini forest animals and quickly learned the sounds of the letters with this Forest Animals Letter Sounds Activity.
