How to Make Magic Color Changing Sensory Bottle
To make your own Magic Color Changing Sensory Bottle is very easy. I just followed the directions from Teaching Mama. Because the beads we used for our sensory bottle are bigger than the beads she used, I had to adjust the ratio of dish soap to liquid so to get just the right amount of movement we were looking for. But once you have it all set, it’s totally worth it because this sensory bottle is awesome!!
Discover the Power of the Sun with UV Beads Sensory Bottle
This sensory bottle is amazing because the beads magically change color in the sun! Besides being just a cool sensory bottle, the color changing beads can lead to some great hands-on learning activities! Here are just a few ideas:
- Cover the beads in the bottle with different pairs of sunglasses to test which pair protects the best from the sun’s UV rays.
- Cover the bottle with sunscreen to test the strength of different brands.
- Cover the bottle with different fabric materials or paper to see which blocks the sun’s UV rays the best.
Magic Color Changing Calm Down Bottle
This color changing sensory bottle is also a great calm down tool. When your child needs to calm down, they can take the bottle outside to watch the beads change colors! Then they can bring it back inside to watch the colors fade away.
Children might also like to watch the bubbles move from one end of the bottle to the other as they work on deep calming breaths.
