Monster Truck Race Math Game
Supplies Needed:
How to Prep:
To prepare this game, first tape down a large sheet of paper on the floor. Second, using markers, draw a path game board on the large sheet of paper or poster board. I used a large sheet of brown craft paper and washable markers. Then add in special spaces such as “Zoom ahead!”, “Stuck in the mud, lose a turn.” or “Jump Boost!” Once you have gathered enough monster truck toys (we used McDonald’s toys) the game is ready to be played!
How to Play:
Players each choose a monster truck, and line them up at the start line.ย Then take turns rolling the dice and moving around the game board. The player who crosses the finish line first is the winner!
You can make this more challenging for older kids by using two or more dice and having them practice math operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication or division!
My five-year old really love playing this simple Monster Truck Race Math Game. We played multiple times and even kept the game board set up for a few days so we could continue to play! Plus it is so easy to fold up to store for another day of play!
