I’ve seen this ‘T’ is for Turkey craft around the web a few times, and each blogger has their own version. But I haven’t seen one quite like this before so I thought I would share it with you!
It’s very simple to make. I drew out a ‘T’ shape on some brown construction paper and cut it out. Then I cut out large feather shapes from fall colored construction paper. I also cut a small triangle for the nose and a red tear drop shape for the gobbler.
First you glue down the feathers. Caden did a great job applying the glue stick and sticking the feathers onto a white sheet of paper. Then Caden glued the brown ‘T’ down for the body of the turkey.
Next Caden added the eyes, gobbler and beak. This craft was perfect for Caden, the large pieces were easy for him to handle, the glue stick wasn’t too messy and there weren’t too many steps to complete but just enough to keep his attention. And it’s adorable!
