Supplies Needed for Acorns and Leaves Fall Sensory Bin
- Bin
- Rice
- Plastic Leaves and Acorns Table Gems
- Spoons and Scoops
- Fine Motor Tools
- Ice Cube Trays
To set up this sensory bin is quick and easy, just pour some plain, dry rice into a bin. Then add the plastic leaves and acorns. Make the sensory bin more inviting for children by setting out some scoops, fine motor tools and containers to fill!
Fall Sensory Bin Math Game
This sensory bin can also be used as a math game for preschoolers! To play this game players take turns rolling the die, then use one of the fine motor tools to count out the leaves or acorns and place them in the ice cube tray. The player that fills the ice cube tray first is the winner.
This is a great game for preschooler to practice counting, one to one correspondence and fine motor skills.
