Critical Thinking Puzzles with KORXX Blocks

Because of the natural texture of KORXX blocks, they can be stacked and arranged in all sorts of different ways. So I thought it would be fun to come up with some neat critical thinking puzzles (similar to THESE from Lalymom) to use with KORXX blocks!

Download printable critical thinking puzzles
White Cardstock paper
Laminator & laminating pouches (optional)

How to Prepare:

To prepare this learning activity, first download and print the critical thinking puzzle prompts HERE. Then print on cardstock, cut out the cards and laminate for durability. It is also a great idea to punch a hole in the corner of each card and hold them together with a ring to keep the cards organized!

How to Use Critical Thinking Puzzle Cards

Once you have printed, cut and laminated the cards, place them on the table with the KORXX blocks and invite your children to play! The critical thinking puzzle cards are numbered in the corner from 1 to 15, with number 1 being the easiest to build and number 15 being the most difficult.

Show the critical thinking puzzle cards to your child and challenge them to build one of the prompts. Some children will love building the designs exactly how they are shown on the cards, others will choose to build their own structures with the KORXX blocks or use the cards as inspiration for their own designs.

No matter how your children choose to play with KORXX blocks they will be working on so many creative and critical thinking skills while having fun! This is why we LOVE playing with KORXX blocks!
