Sparkling Ocean Play Dough
This month’s sensory dough is sparkle dough! This could be any kind of dough with glitter! And who doesn’t love glitter?! I chose to create a Sparkling Ocean Play Dough since we love play dough and Caden has taken an interest in ocean animals lately. This was just a fun way to incorporate a topic of interest and sneak in some hands-on learning with a sensory activity!
To make this play dough is really simple! I mixed up a basic play dough recipe, added some blue coloring do it and some blue glitter and sequins! I think adding glitter and sequins really makes this play dough look like the shining blue ocean! What do you think?
I set out this play dough with some ocean animals from our Safari Ltd Coral Reef and Ocean toobs. Caden got right into it, placing the sharks and whales in the sparkling ocean play dough! He loved really pushing them deep into the play dough which was a great way to work those fine motor muscles!
